LO2 - Risk Assessment (P3)

Tripping over the camera tripod this can occur because the legs of the tripod are open and are to wide open this may not be noticed when filming. This is most likely to happen when the camera operator is giving stage directions. 

Tripod Positing: Make sure that the tripod is in a place where there is less likely to be movement. 

Use markings or Tape: Mark the area around the tripod in a box type shape. Use bright yellow tape so its more visible. 

Communication: Make sure there is communication between the camera operator and the cast crew. 


High – this is because it can cause serious injuries.



Don’t leave the tripod in the way.

To avoid tripping over the tripod you simply don't leave it in the way.

SD card may be full.

High – Won’t have anything to film on

Have a spare Sd card.

Home

Weather may be bad and some of the people I need in my film can’t come because they don’t have a car.

Medium – This is because they can’t make it.

Have a backup person.

Kitchen

Liquids may tip over and slip.

High – can hurt yourself and break a bone or something.

Making sure all liquids are out the way.

Living room

Family can be in the room and loud and may not want to leave.

Medium – May have to find another room.

Making sure family is fine with filming while they are there.
