Legal, moral and ethical issues

Legal concerns include media firms being mindful of rules that could apply to their product and ensuring they are not in violation of any laws, including  judgement laws.

 Helping a media firm make moral decisions and avoid unethical behaviour in whatever manner is the responsibility of ethical restrictions. Media businesses, for instance, must take into account an individual's privacy when exploiting their data.

Television ident regulations are within the purview of Ofcom. Ofcom accomplishes this by ensuring that they adhere to their broadcasting guidelines. There will be dire repercussions if any media company involved in radio or television breaks the code.
